Status first check

A practice drill a day for launch night. Something goes wrong; what do you check first? Pick one of four, then see the right first step and why. These are drills, not live alerts: for what is happening right now, the live status page is the place.

Drill #7

What do you check first?

Drill: a short blip came and went, and the status page never showed it.

How it works

Every day at midnight UTC a new drill unlocks, the same for everyone. Each one describes something players might notice, written as practice, never as a report of a real outage. Pick what you would check first. You get one pick a day. Then you see the right first step and the line from this site that explains it. Your pick and streak are saved only in this browser.

Where the answers come from

Every right answer follows the method this site publishes: the sources and states on how our checks work (including the "is it just me?" levels and the limits of 5-minute checks), how the incident history opens and closes incidents, and the launch FAQ. The 12 drills say nothing about what is happening right now and include no unlock times, download sizes or PC dates.
