What each platform depends on
- PS5: PlayStation Network and the PlayStation Store for sign-in, licences and downloads. See the PS5 guide.

- PC: not announced. Our PC page tracks the launcher and stores a PC version would use.
Launch dates
Pre-loading opens on 12 November 2026 for digital pre-orders and redeemed codes from boxed copies, which hold a download code rather than a disc. GTA 6 unlocks on 19 November 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The download size and unlock times have not been published, so leave generous storage free. The countdown shows the time left in your time zone, and the launch checklist saves your progress on this device.
